TREASURY FUND CONTRIBUTION

The Nauru Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Program requires applicants to make a financial contribution to the country’s Treasury Fund in return for citizenship for the applicant and their family. This contribution will help the government fund a number of development projects, such as climate resilience initiatives, infrastructure improvements, renewable energy projects, and sustainable economic diversification efforts.

Treasury Fund Contribution

A non-refundable donation to the National Treasury Fund starting from USD 105,000 (Excluding government & legal fees).

To qualify for citizenship, the principal applicant must be over 18 years of age. The main applicant and their dependents must have good character, maintain clean personal records, complete thorough due diligence checks, and possess the financial capability to make the necessary contribution. Additional criteria consist of obtaining a police clearance certificate and proving that you do not pose a risk to national security.

APPLICATION PROCESS AND TIMELINE

MONTH 1

STEP 1

  • Applicant signs an appointment agreement with GLOBAL PASS and pays initial retainer.

STEP 2

  • GLOBAL PASS assists the applicant with preparing all required documentation for submission.

STEP 3

  • Local agent submits the application & documents to the Nauruan Government.
  • Applicant pays the required processing fees (government, due diligence…etc).

MONTHS 2-4

STEP 1

  • The Nauruan Government runs a background check and launches the application process.
  • Applicant attends an online interview.

STEP 2

  • The Nauruan Government issues the citizenship approval letter.
